I have directed 20 undergraduate research projects thus far: 10 as part of UMW’s Summer Science Institute and 10 honors theses in mathematics. All of my students’ projects have been in the areas of algebra, topology, or cryptography. Several have won awards for their work, regionally as well as nationally.
