I have directed 18 undergraduate research projects thus far: eight as part of UMW’s Summer Science Institute and 10 honors theses in mathematics. All of my students’ projects have been in the areas of algebra, topology, or cryptography. Several have won awards for their work, regionally as well as nationally.
